Game Volatility is also called Variance or Dispersion, and it describes how often you’re likely to win in a game and how big those wins could be.
There are 3 types of Volatility:
Low Volatility
- This will mean that the wins will be smaller, but offered more frequently
Medium Volatility
- Here, there will be a balance between win frequency and win size
High Volatility
- With bigger wins, but occurring less often
Picking the right game comes down to your play style; it’s really up to you to see if you prefer steady, casual gameplay or a more high-reward experience.
